The Annual Dinner of the Society will be held on Saturday 7th October at the Maritime Museum, Albert Dock. As well as the dinner being on a Saturday, the committee have decide to make the event a dinner-dance with partners.

The menu will be:

Smoked haddock and tartar sauce fishcake
with cucumber salsa

Pan-friend breast of free range chicken with fondant potato,
tarragon cream and seasonal vegetables

Vegetarian:

Butternut squash soup with spiced crème fraîche and home baked roll (v)

Smoked Applewood and spring onion risotto cake
with celeriac puree and roast baby beets (v)

***********

Classic frangipane tart with coconut ice-cream

Freshly brewed tea and coffee

The cost will be £47 per person with a concessionary rate of £37 for members, and their partners, who have left from 2012 onwards OR who are still in full time education. Seating will be in tables of 8 to 10. Besides a cash bar, wine can be ordered at the table or in advance through the Club.
